Under the Electrical Safety Regulations 2020 the landlord has 28 days from the date of the report to complete all C1, C2 and FI remedial work and obtain written confirmation from a qualified electrician that the work was carried out. The landlord must then provide that confirmation to the tenant within 28 days and to the local authority within 28 days of any request.
